Anyone know if CT4 non-V models will offer a manual transmission like its predecessor?

It has not been revealed yet - only the sparse CT4-V details have been made public. I imagine we'll know in the next couple months.

I thought someone said we'd see the regular CT4 about a month after the CT4-V? That's about now.

I posted a article in another thread and the engineer was asked about the manual possibility on the platform moving forward and he didn’t shut it down. Just gave the have to wait and see answer. And that was directed at the CT5.

I think the new grills are much better than the previous. It just looks more refined in both sport and regular trims.

I think it's a respectable looking Cadillac given the new turn in styling they've adopted. I even dare say I like it better than the rest of the sedan lineup. @Steve333 the headlights are not crying, It's more of a sinister look iMO.

I would pay a premium for a manual transmission. Low take rates be damned, charge enough to make it work.

The actual headlights have a sinsiter look, the downward sloping lights kill the look completely, IMO
It was unsuccessful before so why stick with it?

I want so much to like this car but somehow it still doesn't impress me although the interior looks top-notch and Cadillac finally has a nice-looking steering wheel. That rear-end worked on Cadillac concepts but in case of the production-version I am torn between - is it ugly or nice? Too bad I might never see one in real-life as the quite big and still growing American-car enthusiasts niche in Europe don't care about Euro-looking American cars.
Giulia would be still my choice. I am talking about European market of course. If I was American, Cadillac would always be my first choice.

They're not. The more important question, is when are you going to stop crying about the headlights? We get it, you don’t like them, but you obviously feel the need to tell us about it endlessly.

He claims GM's super cruise is a rip off Tesla's self driving tech. Totally ignorant. Onstar has worked on the technology long before Tesla came along, its based of Tomahawks cruise missile concept, internal maps, real time data collection, GPS geo location, a real time comparison and analysis of the three systems to keep you in the lane and to tell precisely where the car is on the highway. On top of in, radar scan of traffic around the car in real time and adjusting to that reality.
Much more sophisticated that Tesla's system.

GM marketing needs to communicate better about GM technology leadership.

The CTS has a version of the technology, being able to tell which lane on a freeway you are on.

I hate if when 'experts' are wrong.

I have had target detection systems utilizing radiant energy on my IP docket for 30 years. I also spent some time with autonomous vehicle guidance systems. I agree that they are based on the same principles as a Tomahawk cruise missile. These principles have existed long before Tesla. A seeker head on a missile, combines RF (radar), passive optics (camera), and active IR (LIDAR). An autonomous car combines millimeter wave radar, ultrasound, and passive optics (camera).
