Nice pic of the CT4-V one of the best colors for sure.

I have never had such mixed feelings about a Cadillac design - sporty, nice side profile, awkward and busy backend. Maybe I felt similar when I saw the 1st gen. CTS - I liked it only from certain angles. I am confused even more when I read all the positive reviews. 'Cadillac of compact cars' - the best possible compliment!

CandD may like the V-Series but they were not as hip to the Premium Luxury CT4. I think they erred about the prop rod; I've only seen CT4s (V and non-V) with hood struts. CD didn't show any photos of the hood open in this review and bookending it with Cimarron mentions makes me wonder why they bothered - https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...lac-ct4-drive/

The CT4-V Car and Driver tested previously used a prop rod for the hood. Perhaps this is only applicable to pre-production cars.

Like CT5, the presence of MRC 4.0 & FE3 suspension tune have a dramatic impact on the overall driving experience for CT4:

Thanks gkr, I missed the prop rod in the V's review because it was overall a good review, not quite as effusive as Motor Trend's but better than Motor1's, which isn't hard.

Evergreen is my first choice, followed by Wave but I'm interested to see the new hues for '21.

The 450T looks amazing in that color, and those wheels are really striking. If Cadillac can’t sell this car in decent numbers, then there isn’t much hope for them going forward. Cadillac is very dumb for not doing a facelift of the ATS Coupe.

All Cadillac’s designers/engineers needed to do, was add a CT4 style front grille/lights/bumper and leave the side sheet metal alone. Change the trunk lid, but only modify the tail light lenses, and to keep costs down keep the current ATS shape lights. Give it the CT4 interior, and they’d have a super sharp coupe offering that actually is not just a copy and paste of the CT4 sedan sans two doors.
