It won’t matter that it’s said. Like with the CT6 production rumors people are going to run with whatever.

I am getting really done with GM across the board. This is a slap in the Face to you Caddy die hards... I guess this company is really trying to lose all the enthusiasts and just want bodies for the autonomous people movers. First FWD Impala and Malibu, next neutered the Blazer lineups, now just waste all that built up VSport street cred...way to go GM.

...so like I told SKH, it's a refascia'd ATS with an XT4 inspired interior.

CT4 and CT5 look more like Chevrolet Sedans than Caddys. Cadillac has to do better.

I fail to see what Simco would have to do with the approval of a model strategy?

    Anyway

I believe there will be another badge above the "v"

It's not unlike any brand to leverage off a successful nameplate GM isnt alone here

I doubt that considering the CT6-V Sport became the CT6-V shortly after Nysschen's departure.

This seems like GM of old and 'Sporty' translates to: suspension tuning, blacked out trim, and barely warmed over engines. If these were V Sport, everyone would be saying "Not bad, now let's see the V Series". These debase the V Series name IMO.
Sad to say, but this time they really deserve the HATE they will recieve now. Lol What were they thinking about. Putting a "V" badge on a regular car is a great strategy Lol

Amazing, auto rags already have the official GM pics, and GM hasn't even posted their Press Release for them yet...

So wouldnt logic then suggest that Carlise is the real culprit?

Well we pretty much knew that's what it was going to be from the spy shots, but I think every panel is new except for the DLO. To agree with you for once. This is a lazy half hearted effort, and if Cadillac sedans aren't fully dead yet, this will certainly expedite their demise. I hope someone with some balls interviews Simco and Carlisle, and asks if they're seriously expecting this to do better than the ATS?
