Sounded to me like the track oriented V series is another model.

Whatever very soon means for the "track-ready V", it needs to happen ASAP.

I'm pretty much convinced that the actual CT4/5/6-V were cancelled and these Vs we are getting were supposed to be V-Sports.

    CT5-V Specs

The CT5-V relies on a twin-turbocharged, 3.0-liter V6 putting out 355 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. It comes mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, and both rear- and all-wheel drive are available. That torque comes on nice and low, too, reaching 90% of its peak at 1,800 rpm. Since a little efficiency never hurts, the engine also has Active Fuel Management, GM's fancy term for cylinder deactivation.

YOOOO THEY USED THE 2.7L I4 FROM THE TRUCKS FOR THE CT4-V HAHAHAHAHAHA!

The smaller Cadillac CT4-V, as one might expect, relies on a smaller engine, but its output isn't too far off from its bigger brother. The CT4-V's 2.7-liter turbocharged I4 is good for 320 hp and 369 lb-ft, the latter of which arrives at a nice and low 1,500 rpm. Just like the CT5-V, the little'un carries a 10-speed automatic with both RWD and AWD on offer, in addition to Active Fuel Management.

Are we sure that’s not just the sport model. Since we technically never saw the sport model for the 3.0TT. My guess is that there will be different levels instead of using two different names. We saw mules like 6 months ago that showed wide tire setup. You don’t need that setup for just the 3.0TT.

CT4 looks like ATS.. No similarity to CT5.. Looks like that one was mailed in from design studio. ATS with different front end.. Even if they share no common panels, they LOOK the same. Not impressed with that one, sorry.

Looks like there will be more powerful CT4 and CT5. Becuase all I see now is a nightmare lol. I've missed this presentation. Did they mention anything about more powerful engines for them?

    Good Grief!
POS doesn't begin to cover it. Apparently there is agreement as I watched a short video and when the covers were pulled off I definitely heard 3 hands clapping....sort of. Geeez....
Must have been Carlisle and 2 "yes" men. It's groundhog day and 2016 all over again... without the pizzaz (wait....what pizzaz?).
WTH could they POSSIBLY have been thinking? Cadillac...RIP. (sigh)

Maybe it's time for Cadillac just to be Cadillac again and let it speak for itself, not be put into someone else's box,” Carlisle said

Yeah. Mr.*icklisle. Now they are Cadillacs indeed.

    Mary is a *OCKSUCKER.

Can u imagine. They did not even change the bumpers for the CT5. Im not even talking about the wide body and all the aggressive stuff.
And the power. This is a joke. lol The upcoming M3 will have 150-200 hp more. hahahah

I couldn't get it to play! Right now I'm gob smacked as to what Cadillac's model strategy is? I had to check to make sure it wasn't April fools day. The CT4 looks as someone said 'The design team phoned it in'. Over to you Cadillac. Tell us how this is a winning strategy? This seems like GM of old and 'Sporty' translates to: suspension tuning, blacked out trim, and barely warmed over engines. If these were V Sport, everyone would be saying "Not bad, now let's see the V Series". These debase the V Series name IMO.
