I don't know what Jerry Perez is talking about but I sat in a XT4, its a fine vehicle. The Interior had high quality soft touch materials with excellent fit and finish. I di agree that it needs more power. Maybe they can put a less torquey 2.7 liter turbo in as a V version or what about turbocarging that 2.5 liter 4 in the Blazer, Acadia etc ?

See Lexus RX line. You need to read again what he said. The XT6 isn't different enough to be it's own vehicle from the XT5 imo. Especially aligning it with the CT6 in name. Now THAT is horrible marketing...

I'm not biased. I don't know why that thought gets spread around here. I've bought 3 new Cadillacs in 6 years, and gave them another chance when my first one was a lemon.

Just because I'm tough on a brand I like doesn't make me biased.

To be fair the 416 HP AMG I4 is a niche engine; their standard 2.0T make something like 241 HP.

Until Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Lexus introduce S/7/LS sized cars for C/3/IS money, the brand isn't being diluted. Just because a brand introduces a compact entry level car doesn't mean it's diluting the brand. You get what you pay for, and stepping into a GLC from a GLA is a massive difference, from drive wheels to interior to size.

Lincoln is on the right path, and I'm not sure I see any value propositions in their lineup anymore. Hell, the Navigator is priced right on top of the Escalade, a vehicle that owns that class.

Corsair, Nautilus, Continental, Aviator, and Navigator are all priced relatively in-line with the competition, and the brand as a whole has done a lot right lately.

I've talked to someone about this on another site that confirmed it Navigator isn't even being bench-marked at Cadillac too low for them.

It looks very different from the XT5. It's not just an XT5 with a third row. What's the difference naming it XT6 rather than XT5-L. They made the right decision. And it's all the XT family just like Lexus RX family.

I'll go with Festus. Surprised? I did like Burt Reynolds as the blacksmith though. Early Burt, before he saddled up his Firebird.

MB has their "AMG" 35 models too - 300 HP 2.0T. Not that any of the MB A cars interest me, but that GLB got me like (insert Drake meme).

Seen a few XT4's on the road now and I think it looks pretty damn good. Really like the rear end design.

Actually pulled up behind a guy the other day who had a turquoise looking color XT4 and it was pretty sharp.

XT4 and XT5 are a solid duo but Cadillac needs at least one more CUV in its line up.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic but you have seen the XT6 I assume.
