Ram is still making the 'Classic'

OK digging bit deeper, the decline in Ram is primarily from the decline in HD's, the Ram Plant in Saltillo (where the 2500, 3500 are made) is down 35K units.

Digging even deeper.......... the production declines are all in Q2, because through March all Ram P/U Truck plants were up YTD-YOY.

I believe this is Covid related, not demand related, but I'm not sure when did (or does) the HD change-over?

This could be part of it too..................

Ram "was" still making the 'Classic' plant is being re-tooled now, they basically came back in May and worked for about a month after the Covid shut-down, to finish build-out of the model.

For the price we pay for these trucks you don't see what's so bad about the interior?!?!?

Considering we’re only seeing camo clad pics, wonder when we’ll see the reveal and they actually go on sale? Obviously no sooner than ‘22 models which is a later refresh than the last body style.

These trucks better have the new interior. I just crossed 70k miles and I'm ready to trade in. I really want the wireless version of Apple Carplay that is supposed to be coming.

You make it seem like the current trucks interiors are as bad as the last gen ones......and don't you sound like a spoiled 1st worlder....

Maybe it's GM's lay-a-way plan....Except that you pay now and get to come back and have the interior installed a couple years later.

Well considering the current gen interiors are nothing but the last gen ones minus some decontented materials and trim.

Last gen was better quality. Looks a tad older (it is) but the new one is cheaper.

Bet they're saving money on the t1xx interior. It shows.

The T1XX is bigger than the K2XX, and it has a few added features, but it's actually "less-nice" than the K2XX, that's the problem.................

I'll be sticking with my Ram trucks. As much as I wanted to like the GM trucks, I just don't. Especially the Chevy trucks, just downright homely.
