It would be nice to see what the design was that they had going before this major course change for this second gen. Equinox.

Sometimes "forgettable" is good compared to some of the modern designs we wish we could forget.

Well any publicity is good publicity I suppose but when you look at the sorts of comments people make about the "styling" you have to really ask yourself of GM still believes they made the right choice to leave so many world markets

They can't live in a bubble forever and must realise that to be successful globally you have to sell what people want to buy not tell them what to buy and they just have to deal with it

The amount of people I speak to who say they would buy a full size truck or SUV if they could get it at a reasonable price would make GM think " you know maybe we should investigate building in RHD?"

But no - they send the worst products they make with forgettable styling and then charge top dollar for them

Sit back and wonder why they're not making any money

They should release official photos now, the leaked base white model isn’t doing it any favours.

It is growing on me though

But yet to hear them, they are profitable though and in their minds that's all that counts.

This is what the Equinox should have been.

Yep you could argue that but one thing about social media is that people generally say what they think with no filter

You get more honest feedback that way in my opinion

Wasn't that like the design stage of what ended up as the Blazer? If so, we already have it and Equinox surely didn't need to be its clone. JMHO.

Re: Spy Shots: 2021 Chevy Equinox

I've had a '19 equinox for a year now and its been great. Tell me, do you really spend time sitting on a message board criticizing a little CUV that does family duty? Seriously? I wasn't aware that a little commuter family car generated such hatred and divisiveness. BTW, it's been a great car. I got it with the LTG. Upgraded brakes, dual exhaust, 275 hp in a 3300 pound car, its quick, and the driving dynamics are top notch for a CUV. I don't regret the purchase one bit. And you guys seem so stuck on what it looks like...as if thats why people buy these. It looks just fine, just for the record. It's a Chevy. It looks like one. I've become sort of fond of it, and nowadays I think it looks pretty fun. It has a "fast" look to it. I like it. Lighten up folks!

    GM can do better

Why should we settle for average?

I mean it's ok that you can settle for average but why should you?
