    Spy Shots: 2021 Chevy Equinox

    2021 Chevrolet Equinox
    SUNDAY, JANUARY 05, 2020
    blurlappcar.com

The Chevrolet Equinox will be getting a mid-cycle refresh for the 2021 Model year.

The top picture shows the changes, still under heavy camouflage. So it's hard to say...

Since this is a very popular model for Chevrolet, don't expect anything drastic.

Not much revealed, but looks like they're still aiming to mimic both the Blazer and Trailblazer's design language in the update.

The 'Nox is a huge seller. They can't screw this up.

Definitely a needed facelift, the cruze look is long past it's sell by date!

I'm going to echo some of the comments at the link site and say it will probably come out looking like the Blazer and ruin it.

Was hoping they would add plastic trim around the wheel arches to reduce the visual heft of the body

I know it is GMI, so of course everyone hates it, but I think the Nox is one of chevy's best lookers. I saw a blue one today that looked fantastic. I think the Nox is better looking than the more expensive Terrain twin. About the only other thing in the class that I like is the CR-V with the upgraded tail configuration. And what is it with some of these SUV's now that stick the turn light at the bottom of the bumper? Practically invisible it is so low.

I'm hoping they "try" to make it look like the Blazer but don't succeed; it looks good and then they change the Blazer to look like it.

An ill placed turn-signal by one manufacturer, doesn't make a wimpy car look good...............

GM messed-up the back of the Equinox, the rear roof-line drops-off, for aerodynamics I'm sure, but it looks bad.

Better seen from the profile view, but I found this, it sort of shows what I'm talking about:

The new Equinox was a HUGE step backwards from the old. The blazer is the real replacement for the old.

I do not like the face of the new Equinox at all. The Blazer looks OK from the front, not so great from the rear, I hope they can improve the Equinox front.

I have this feeling, Chevrolet is looking for its face again in the Car and SUV FWD space.

Either I need glasses or you didn't see one from the back. That rear end is the most boring one in the history of automobiles. They make minivans happier than that.

We test drove a 2019 and really wanted to buy one as we had a 2012 and it was good. That ugly rear end, turbo only engine (diesel out of my price range) - we ended up with a base Murano for almost the same price. 3.5V6 NA 260HP got my hard earned cash.

I saw it from the back. I don't think I am the only one who finds it good looking as sales are quite good.

Its sales numbers are because its non-offensive and cheap pricewise in comparison to the competition. I hardly find anything attractive about the Equinox.
