It looks like it got in a wreck and they didn't put the front end back together yet. Maybe functional for extra cooling or something, but just doesn't look finished to me.

Now let me get this straight. You put the lime in the coconut..... Oh, sorry. Wrong song.

So GM should be content to basically sell half of what the Tacoma does? Not to mention new competition from Ford and Chrysler now crowding in? I'm thinking there's something wrong with your statement but can't quite figure out what. I'll take some wild guesses though. Does your statement have anything to do with a white flag? If not, perhaps then this course is following GM's latest mantra. Build fewer vehicles to maintain exclusivity and price. After all, this is working well for Harley D. Or was up until a few years back.
It sounded pretty good until I actually said it.

In the last six months, there's been a significant decrease in Colorado sales
at the same time as Ranger has begun hitting its straps and now sells 8K/mth
A coincidence or is there a relationship between the two?

100% Absolutely. GM is fully content with putting in 50% of the effort to reach 75% of it's buyers. Anyone with half a brain knows this.

If one reads between the lines it almost looks like GM is fully content with making a half assed effort a lot of the time to get them to that "it'll be good enough" mantra.

100000 units is less than half an Assembly plant. Time to close another plant!!!

God, these upper level Managers are so dense.

Maybe fix the product, and fill the plant. WTF.

Ummm, that plant is running at full capacity actually, they had to punt the fullsized van production to keep up with C/C production so.. yeah....

I figured this out the other-day..............

That grille has screw-dimples on it in that spot, for models with Z71 package, it's perfect, but when a truck doesn't have the Z71 package, they bolt a bow-tie to the screw-dimples.

    Warm diablo............

The 2015-2019 has a fixed caliper, opposed 4 piston design, the 2021 is going to basic caliper a lot like the one on a 1995 Chevy Express van.

Halogen lights on a 40-50k 2021 model is simply pathetic! At the very least the idiots on the design team could of put some led bulbs in the assembly!

Youd be hard pressed to find a decent looking 2dr pickup in the US...thanks to CAFE (thanks Obama :-) always wanted to say that) OEMs have shied away from RCSB variants because of the vehicle's overall footprint drives the category its rated in, or something of the like.

I guess you could settle for a Tacoma TRD Pro 2-door... oh wait...

    Maybe a Jeep Gladiator...anything in a 2-door... no...?

    I know. I'm sure a 2-door F-150 Raptor... no?!?

Frontier! They are old! I bet you can get a 2-door Frontier Pro-4X! ...or not.

So very odd that GM doesn't offer anything in a 2-door when everyone (no one) else does...
