    All-New 2021 Chevy Trailblazer Debuts

CHEVROLET DEBUTS ALL-NEW 2021 TRAILBLAZER, GROWS BRAND’S SUV FAMILY
    Chevrolet
    May 29, 2019

Trailblazer enters one of the fastest-growing SUV segments

DETROIT — The Trailblazer joins the Chevrolet portfolio in early 2020, and with this new entry Chevrolet offers customers one of the broadest lineups of crossovers and SUVs. Positioned between the Trax and Equinox, the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer will join the fast-growing small SUV segment.

“The Trailblazer’s great design enables more personalization,” said Steve Majoros, director of Chevrolet passenger car and crossover marketing. “Trailblazer is a continuation of the design language for Chevy’s crossover family and extends our momentum into one of the industry’s fastest-growing segments.”

The Chevrolet Trailblazer will include an RS trim with standard two-tone roof that allows drivers to purchase a vehicle that reflects their lifestyle.

The Trailblazer’s unique individuality is paired with standard active safety features* including Front Pedestrian Braking, Automatic Emergency Braking and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning. It also offers optional Adaptive Cruise Control - Camera, Rear Park Assist and a High Definition Rear Vision Camera that provides additional assistance to customers while parking.

“These features deliver added confidence and peace of mind behind the wheel, helping drivers monitor the vehicle’s surroundings and the driving environment with an available combination of camera, short-range radars and ultrasonic sensors,” said Majoros.

Product specifications and pricing will be shared later. The new Trailblazer is expected to start arriving at dealers in early 2020.

Hopefully its as nice as we have seen in other photos ..

Hopefully its priced well right out of the gate and not requiring discounts pretty soon after launch like the blazer did...

Hopefully it has a strong standard powerplant too...

Gm needs winners in this segment...

My better half would never look at a bowtie product so I also hope for a gmc sister vehicle that looks and drives well too...(dont ask but thats how many of the girls think these days...gmc good, chevy bad...not a battle worth waging to convince otherwise)

Very, very nice. Hopefully, this will keep the buyers of the Cruze in-house.

Assume this will be imported from South Korea? Anyone know?

So with the name "TrailBlazer" taken, what will they name the new Colorado based SUV coming next year??? Will there be an GMC Envoy version?

What is the difference between this model and the blazer because I'm not seeing much? Is this now a compact suv class, if so that thing better not break 35k fully equipped.

Smaller than Blazer. Fits between Trax and Blazer in the lineup.

why announce this now? It'll be a full 6 to 12 months before people can actually buy this. Until then, it'll only hurt Equinox and Trax sales.

This is part of GM's strategy that mirror's Ford's, more CUVs to fill in the void from traditional cars. This effectively replaces the Cruze and Sonic much like the new Escape replaces the Focus.

So is Ford smart or GM dumb?

Debuting their "Korean import" CUVs so they get overshadowed by the CT4-V and CT5-V debuts tomorrow?

I'm not a fan of it. The styling that worked so well on the Blazer...doesn't seem to translate well at all (in my eyes at least) to this smaller model.

Maybe its the black roof...or the wheels that don't seem to fill up the wheel wells as well here as they do on the Blazer RS?

That's a pretty big gap...is it bigger or smaller than the Equinox?

Here's a few photos I took of the Chinese market Trailblazer. Interesting that the front end styling is different.
