Our 2011 Traverse has a ton more cargo space in it then our 2008 Tahoe had, especially behind the third row, and the split 60/40 rear seat arrangement vs the Tahoe's 50/50 split. Couldn't justify keeping the Tahoe when the Traverse was so much better.

yes traverse definitely has more interior volume than the gm full size suvs......until now. the lack of back seat legroom and foot space and third row room has been strange. my srxs had the same wheelbase as the tahoe but used the space so much better.

    No, all paved here.

I am thinking I will be picking up one of these new Suburbans with a few miles on them in 3 to 4 years once the traverse is past 200 K miles

Tahoe is an established brand that literally dominates , or owns its segment. It would be an absolute disaster to mess with success.

Blazer should've been called "Traverse Sport" or some sort of derivative of Traverse. Which shoulve led to the Blazer's design being ported up to the Traverse to link the two.

I would have called the Equinox the Captiva and Blazer the Equinox

You are aware that the rest of the world refers to the Captiva as the "Craptiva" right? Also badging the Blazer as an Equinox kneecaps your max price on it...no one will pay over 30k for an Equinox regardless of what its attached to.
