Pretty impressive that a Silverado (and therefore the next gen Tahoe and Suburban) with the 4.3 gets better fuel economy than the Traverse.

So there will not be an extended cab, long box 1500 option? Or any extended cabs in the HD line? Interesting.

There might be a 4.3V6 option in the 2WD Tahoe but doubtful the Suburban will be sold with a V6.

A 2WD regular cab Silverado weighs nearly 500 pounds less than a Traverse. Pickup truck fuel economy can be deceptive, who knows which configuration they tested.

Light duty trucks only have the Double Cab Standard Box option.

Anybody notice that one of the engines shown for the tahoe is a 403 hp 6.2L? I thought the 6.2l was dropped 4 years ago?

Yes, was going to comment too, but you beat me to the punch. I think this may be a mistake. If someone copied/pasted the Yukon info, then the 6.2 would have been there for the Denali. I doubt the Tahoe is getting the 6.2 again (what, since '09?) on it last half year in this setup.

Yep.. just checked the Chevrolet website. Built a 2014 Tahoe, no 6.2 option. The Concord Mettalic Blue looks nice.

nsap, reread your description for the Suburban...you missed a Yukon reference when you copied it over.

I also just realized the third row of a Tahoe is as useless as the back of a BRZ.
