That's a truckload of info. Good luck keeping it updated. I also hope this looks better on a PC than on my phone, lol.

You're missing the 6AT fuel economy on the Camaro LT, fyi. It's 18/27 (for the sake of completeness). Also, ZL1 automatic is 12/18...and I need to stop reading before I spend all day adding to this.

One almost wonders if this would be better off being put together as a wiki-type page with mods approving user edits, but I digress.

    Added.

It is best viewed on a computer, though it renders perfect in Safari on my iPhone.

The Camaro has more leg room than the ATS and only 0.1" less than the CTS. Wow.

"We expect a new Corvette again in about four years."

At best, we can expect some styling adjustments in 3 to 4 years. Anything more than that is wildly optimistic.

That is based on actual information. C7 will be a short run.

Have the HP and torque figures released for the Camaro Z/28 or are the 500hp/470lb-ft based on Z06 numbers?

Those are GM's estimates for the Z/28.

Slightly off topic, but can someone at GMI dig into how many Z/28's GM is going to build? The build to suit demand does not make any sense for a couple of reasons:
    1. Nothing currently in production uses the LS7
    2. LS7 is only built at GM Performance Build Center, but the Build center is being moved to Kentucky and will most likely not set up to build the LS7.
    3. New Performance Build center will not be open in time for Z/28 production.

With those three reasons, it would appear that GM has been and currently is building a specific number of LS7's for the Z/28 before closing the Performance Build Center. This is a lot of capital to prebuild motors a few months ahead but I don't see any other options.

My phone isn't powerful enough to render GMI unless desperate. The Autoguide app butchers the formatting. Looks fantastic on my PC.

A 2018 model year C8? I'll believe it when I see it. An engineering guy may have told you this, but the accountants won't close the business case. Too much development money went into this model to toss it so short a time. In the past 40 years can you name one GM product that was replaced by an all new model in 4 years? I honestly can't think of one. At best, I would say 6 years for a new Corvette. They have 5 easy years of special/higher performance models they can focus on with the new platform.

The only possible scenario would be an uber Corvette with the old model staying around. Even that is doubtful. When GM can't make the case for a world class Cadillac flagship, I don't see how they will make one for a Corvette.
