No 6-speed here either. I guess you have to go Aura or G6 with a 3.6L to get one.

    :-(

With the supply being as limited as it is, it's just not possible at the moment. Once they work off the tooling costs and go full-tilt on production, the 6-speed range should be a lot wider.

I guess that means flex fuel now like the impala, and 211 hp? Transmission change please, no more 4 speeds.

I guess this is the death of the LX9. Will it be rated at the 211 as in the Impala, or the 220+ as in the Aura? Would rather it be the later (who wouldn't) or it would actually lose torque.

Cool a little more power, air bags, and onstar. I wish that they put the new radio in there too (but it might have looked funny).
I'll make a new sig. Later.

Just onstar, not a navi system integrated in the dash. I know I had to read that twice, I thought they were making this car compete w/ the best...tisk tisk.

So no 3.6 for this...would be good if the 3.9 will be made available on other models, maybe with taller gearing than the SS.

    Re: 2007 Malibu Changes

This stuff is only preliminary. I've fallen for this April stuff in year's past.

The releases have the V-6 engines all mixed up. They say the Impala gets a new 3500, but it's the same power output as last year's. And why would the Malibu get the 207/211 hp version and the G6 gets the 224 as in the Aura? Probably cheaper to just put the 224 in everything, which I bet is the true case.

So, what's the airbag change? Makes no sense.

And here they go again screwing around with trim levels. Guess it's now an annual thing. LS becomes 1LT and 1LT becomes 2LT. My crystal ball tells me a 16LT isn't far off. Too much free time on employee's hands if all they do is fuss around with trim levels day in and out.
