    Factory tested:

Kia claims that the 2.2 diesel, 2.0 T-GDi and 3.3 V6 Twin-Turbo models will do a 0–100 kilometres per hour (0–62 mph) acceleration in 7.7, 6 and 4.9 seconds, respectively. Schreyer reportedly drove a pre-production Stinger GT at a top speed of 269 kilometres per hour (167 mph) on the Autobahn.[2]

My loaner car has push button start.
Can someone please tell me the advantage when I have to take the fob out of my pocket to open the door?

What kind of car? My 2011 Kia Optima I had and the 2006 Miata I currently have has a little button on the door handle that unlocks the door. My Honda CRV unlocks when you put your hand on the door handle. I have never had to take the fob out of my pocket on any of them.

Looking at medium to large sedans (regardless of class) it is outselling the Mazda 6 and almost beat the Ford Mondeo last month. It is outsold by Camry, Commodore, Mercedes C Class, BMW 3 Series, Mercedes CLA and Mondeo.

It actually doesn't IMHO. The RWD overhangs completely change the flow of the body. Yes it has a familiar nose and tail, but the overall look is very distinctive and pretty good looking.

I've gone well over 167 miles in several KIAs. No big deal.

You might want to update your hard drive.

This is the first car to come out since the frs/brz that I have found myself very interested in. And that was the only new car I ever bought.

Nowadays driving 270 km/h isn't that special, if you remove the 250 km/h speed limiter with a simple software update.

    Nice car.

Would never pay the $$ they want for a Kia but they will sell to people in the market for some performance.

I'd prefer this to any CUV, but I think my next car will be a Challenger.

Seems like all you get these days for rentals are Kia's and Hyundai's. They are real **** boxes. I can't imagine the stinger being much different. You Aussies have fallen a far way if this is the stuff you think qualifies as a good car.
