As it turns out, the U.S-spec 2021 Chevy Trax will ditch the turbo 1.4L I4 LUV offered on outgoing models in favor of the turbocharged 1.4L I4 LE2 gas unit.
I find it interesting to a bit juvenile that the other site mentioned gets the pixilation therapy, probably because of jealousy or angst that they actually scoop or break more news than this place since AutoGuide snagged it. Just sayin'
Oh yea I meant to add that my friend’s gf has a trax. I had asked her how she likes it and the only thing she said was “it starts and gets me to work”. No passion whatsoever. She could easily be swayed to another brand. And my mom was debating on buying a slightly used trax as a runabout in town, she liked it but the drivers window will make this cheap clunk when rolled up and the whole plastic piece on the back of the passenger seat fell out on the test drive. I think it was a 2018 w under 30k km. Garbage.
In almost six years of driving the Sonic I’ve never used the driver arm rest, but then it’s a stick shift so less useful. One passenger years ago said ´hey where’s the armrest’ on the passenger side, but note there are eBay/amazon consoles in the $30-50 range available. I never bothered.
But should the next gen Trax/Encore have one? Sure.
Cute little cuv yet driving one a few years ago that engine needed a revamp. Hopefully this new engine will be a little better.
A few years from now we will see ev buick encores etc...then we wont have to hear the little 3 or 4 banger thrashing and it should be less expensive to purchase and run.
First generation buick encore was a well styled vehicle. It dodnt look cheap like the chevy version at least from the outsode.
