https://***********.com/blog/2020/1...opts-new-more-powerful-engine/#comment-994918 . I found this article over at the link. If this is so might this also mean that maybe they are sticking around a bit longer than expected. Comments and insight anybody? From the Authorized GM website. ;)
Interesting, "authorizied" GM websites aren't' allowed here..;)

I wonder if I could do https://www.ford.com/ or https://www.bmwusa.com/ and not be censored?.

Oh, it looks like I can.......

Oh yea I meant to add that my friend’s gf has a trax. I had asked her how she likes it and the only thing she said was “it starts and gets me to work”. No passion whatsoever. She could easily be swayed to another brand. And my mom was debating on buying a slightly used trax as a runabout in town, she liked it but the drivers window will make this cheap clunk when rolled up and the whole plastic piece on the back of the passenger seat fell out on the test drive. I think it was a 2018 w under 30k km. Garbage.

In almost six years of driving the Sonic I’ve never used the driver arm rest, but then it’s a stick shift so less useful. One passenger years ago said ´hey where’s the armrest’ on the passenger side, but note there are eBay/amazon consoles in the $30-50 range available. I never bothered.

But should the next gen Trax/Encore have one? Sure.

Cute little cuv yet driving one a few years ago that engine needed a revamp. Hopefully this new engine will be a little better.

A few years from now we will see ev buick encores etc...then we wont have to hear the little 3 or 4 banger thrashing and it should be less expensive to purchase and run.

First generation buick encore was a well styled vehicle. It dodnt look cheap like the chevy version at least from the outsode.
