This is an indictment of him and not unions. Without unions we wouldn't have had the 40-hour work week, 2-day weekend and the middle class.

That's rather one-dimensional reasoning. Is it your assertion that declining union membership has been a singular factor decimating the middle class for the last 50 years?

Being the 13th indictment involving ongoing criminal investigations of the UAW would seem to indicate some serious rot by union-minded opportunists, enabled by a mob-styled organization, that leeches off of the less fortunate they claim to champion. How can and why do union members perpetually defend these predictable outcomes as some sort of unrelated aberration?

Actually, there's no reasoning at all in post #2. Just a series of false statements and a completely meaningless chart.

Exactly. Self Reliance almost seems like a pro-union bot that constantly post un-supported union propaganda. That chart he posted is complete junk. Anybody that believes it is mindless.

Why aren't UAW members up in arms about this seemingly endless corruption? It's the rank-and-file members that are being stolen from.

As the numerous felony convictions, and felony indictments (with more to come) illustrate, there is a deep-rooted system of corruption in the high levels of the UAW. Those charged and convicted, were stealing massive amounts of money and squandering massive amounts on the “high life” for themselves.

We know about regulatory capture, that's when companies take over the government agencies mean to regulate them, but union capture is apparently a thing too. Capitalism corrupted even unions, no wonder auto workers have been getting screwed over the past 40 years.

"The UAW—which has not called a national auto strike since 1976—is determined to do everything to beat back workers and impose yet another pro-company deal. The corruption scandal engulfing the union has exposed the UAW as a wholly owned subsidiary of the auto companies whose “negotiators” are on the payroll of corporate management. That is why autoworkers must take the initiative now to block another sellout by forming rank-and-file committees in every factory to outline demands that workers need, not what management and the UAW says are affordable, and to prepare a national strike to shut down the auto and auto parts industry."

The middle class is shrinking because more of them are moving OUT and UP out of the class.

    Go ahead. Prove me wrong.

the 19.6 percentage point increase in the share of high-income US household between 1969 and 2016 (from 8.1% to 27.7%) was a result of: a) an 11.1 percentage point shrinkage in the share of middle-class households (from 53.2% to 42.1%), and b) an 8.5 percentage point shrinkage in the share of low-income households.

40 hour week? Who has those? Middle class income decline has nothing to do with Unions. I would like to see a graph of Globalist economics, job exports against middle class income.
Do not forget who funded job exports, its Big Union funding Big politics.
