It's good to know these will be still around in 2 1/4 years.

Thank God the Saabaru was still-born.

Each Saturn dealer is selling an average of 1.47 Relays PER MONTH.

There are still 100 new Chevy Blazers in dealer stock.

At the current Sunfire selling rate, quite a few will be on hand when the G5 arrives.

It looks like Colorado and Canyon have taken a nose-dive.

The Rendezvous, DTS, Impala, G6 and Vue numbers look good.

Interesting that the CSVs are doing better, apparently, than the 'Nox and Torrent.

And the Malibu is kicking butt! Could it be the much improved front-end look is catching on?

Ouch, 142 days for the STS and 115 for the SRX, at least the SRX is getting fixed for the summer. The cobalt could use some help to.

That's almost as bad as the SSR, why is that? When I went to Sanibel yesterday, every other car was a 2006 Monte Carlo or Impala, and they weren't all rentals. The Malibu is doing GREAT though, that new front-end must be it.

Does anyone think the DTS is stealing STS sales? Or the other way around?

I am curious to see the demographics of each car and how (or if) they differ. They DTS looks amazing now, and it is bigger and cheaper than the STS, but the STS is a little better car and appeals to the Cadillac faithful.

The colorado's problem is that the base version looks too cheap, and the desirable versions are more expensive than the competition. Every Colorado should either be a Z71 package or a zq8 package for the same price as the base, regular suspension. More powerful engine and better tranny wouldn't hurt, either.

Well, Chevy discovers the malibu doesn't suck after they design it to look decent in the first place.

Should be able to pick up that LeSabre around Christmas...OR a Bonneville or Grand Am, for that matter!
Excellent post, very informative, thank you.

I kinda agree. I saw an STS the other day and thought it was a CTS. The DTS is the large one, right? Ala, Develle? Perhaps they could just stick with the CTS and DTS and offer more variations of the CTS. CTS-V, etc.. DTS buyers might be more conservative.

There just seems to be some overlap between the STS and CTS. I would stick with the CTS.

Can anyone give me some assistance on how to interpret these numbers? I assume this means total inventory, and average days on the lot. Is that correct?

Its total inventory and how long it will take at the current sale pace to sell all of them they have. Ofcorse this is the slow part of the year so expect things to pick up a bit in the coming months.

I love the STS although it does have some market placement issues with it, other then that its a awesome vehicle.

I dont expect much from the DTS in the future, its doing good now because its new but once the newness ends I expect it to continue its 4 year sales dive. Eventually they will probably kill the DTS once sales get low enough to do so without impacting GM sales too much. So CTS for Cadillac's entry which will be all new soon, STS for their mid sized competitor and ULS for their S class fighter.

Wow, definitely some high inventory. I know sales generally pick up for the summer, but some are ridiculously high levels based on sales.

Well the DTS/Deville has had the sales lead for 20+ years I don't think it is something short lived. It is cheap in luxury terms and it now has an interior with some aspects close to an Audi! Now that is why the STS is doing bad not because it looks like a CTS. My issue with the STS is that you can tell that they messed with the design before release because something is strange about it plus it sits to high in the rear.
