How funny would it be if these were made in China, shipped here and delivered to sites in a Buick Ensure?

    Joking aside,nice Job GM!.

I’m pretty sure that’s the only reason it got done.

Many on this site wanted GM to exit parts manufacturing in the US and off shore them for more profits.
It's probably just lucky timing that building hadn't been razed or sold yet.

While good news, this is just a fraction of what the "old" GM was capable of.

Angus, is Australian, he is bitter about Holden. He has really turned negative towards GM lately. He used to be a GM hack, like me.

    GM certainly needs new leadership.

Angus Mackenzie apparently still doesn't know his Corvette history. Harley Earl was the father of the Corvette. Duntov made it go faster. Duntov was hired by Chevrolet in 1953 while Corvettes were rolling off the assembly line....

Nothing worse than an old fart, with a hippie haircut, and can't afford a decent pair of men's dress slacks, trying to hold onto his youth. His few kind words about any American automobile manufacturer over the past years is one of the reasons I dumped "Foreign Motor Trend".......

Duntov had balls...after seeing the Corvette, he wrote GM expressing interest on working on the Corvette to make it better/faster! GM was so impressed, they hired him!

Awesome! Can I get mine with a Cadillac emblem to impress the ladies? Cadillac, Standard of the Facemask.
It sounded pretty good until I actually said it.

Angus is also typical of Aussie Holden fans, who turned their backs on Holden and GM
the day manufacturing local cars ended. Whole families turned their backs on GM and
that is the real reason why Holden is now a dead brand.
