Ford Bronco Sport Arriving At Dealers; First Overview

    Raiti's Rides
    October 29, 2020

No it's not a General Motors product, but it is one of the bigger introductions for 2021. Take a look. Dealer here on Long Island has 17 incoming ranging from $28 to $40k. Looks like Ford has a huge hit on their hands, and this is just the "Baby" Bronco.

Note: This video is an overview only, the reviewer does not drive the vehicle, as I would assume that it is sold.

Definitely looks like they checked all of the boxes and this should sell really well! Nice job Ford!

I'm seriously looking at these as possibly replacing the Rogue as my next vehicle because for me it checks all the boxes as to what I am currently in and can do soft-roading as well(or better) and being slightly larger as well.

When does Bronco (As opposed to Bronco Sport) start production? The Bronco is a great product. Too bad the Jimmy was killed.

I like the running boards and that the back window can open independently of the door. Love those in my original Escape. This and the 2 door Bronco are exactly what I was looking in a stand out for this class.

This seems like a nice balance of ruggedness and on-road civility. A similar GMC model, perhaps based off the Trailblazer/Encore GX, would be a great addition to GMC's lineup.

ALthough i prefer the more traditional looking bronco I hope this bronco sport is a huge sales success as well for ford.

Ford needs home runs. Their product we are seeing is excellent. The pricing seems right on target too...

From what we know so far.

Im a gm guy for the most part yet fords product lineup looks great ...i want both great companies to succeed.

Good video thanks for sharing. I like raitis ride vdeos. I like his passion in his design styling analysis.

Last I heard was March, but that seem late, considering I've saw full-finished models for the past month, one of my "neighbors" live on the other side of the lake, had a 4-door one day and a 2-door the next day.

Bronco Sport just started in the last week or two.

The Blazer isn't the answer, but to your point, GM could come out with a "Jimmy" Maybe GMC Hummer Jimmy EV, boy that's a mouthful.

Rarely used by my (short) wife, but I loved it, easier to "pile" stuff in the back without the worry of crashing to the ground when you open the hatch, dare I saw, almost like a trunk in a sedan.

This is based on the Escape, and with a boxy body, should have as much or more space, Trailblazer/Encore GX is a up-sized Trax/Encore.

What would people think if Ford came out with a Escape FX4?

This has been a point of contention we me and GMC for what seems like ever, why not more than different body/names on same Chevy product?

Us too, wife wants to see it in-person...........

Her lease on the Rogue is up in 2-weeks, since the buyout price was always good, we are WAY-UNDER on miles and used-car prices are strong, we are probably going to buy it, this will give us some time to make our next move.

One other thing that has my interest is the upcoming Maverick or whatever it will be called and as usual GM and others wont go there either. Funny thing, my dad just picked up yesterday a new Chevy Colorado 4 dr. ZR2(that dk. blue) and got rid of his '13 X-terra and '16 F250 Super Duty ext. cab to do so. Deal done on Fri. He let me drive it to drop off the Ford yesterday, After being used to my Rogue I thought that the Colorado seemed big lol. One heck of a nice truck they are, drives nice too.

There's an underserved market for more boxy and rugged looking CUVs and SUVs. I'm glad Ford figured that out.

Re: Ford Bronco Sport Arriving At Dealers; First Overview

About 11 or 12 years ago, Ford had the Focus and an SUV that looked like a truck called Escape. The Escape was very square. The Focus and the Escape shared a lot of common elements.

For 2021 we will have an Escape that looks more and more like a car and a square SUV called Bronco Sport.

I have the impression that it is going in circles.

If I had to buy a vehicle from Ford I would save a few thousand dollars by going to the Escape rather than the Bronco Sport. My preference would be for a real car like the Focus is but it is not available here.
