    No because it is not priced like those. Entry level buyers are going to look at what they get for their money. When they see the CT4-V priced the same as A Class, they are going to compare those two. The 3 Series will start at $40k, and thie CT4 will start about $32-34k, you know, like the A Class.

    Width.........................71.9"........73.7 "
    Height.........................56.8".........56.1 "

    Width is the big thing and hallelujah... the CT4 is a BIG winner.
    It is just 1.2" wider than my Cruze, but the Cruze (like the ATS) does not have power folding mirrors.
    So it is effectively narrower than my Cruze. This is great news!!

    Given recent GM behavior, it might be $34-36K with $2K “discount” seconds after launch. I hope not.

    But low 30s would be great for the CT4, even I could afford one...with a little help from GM Card...

    I’m fine with a A/A3 size vehicle. (If I wasn’t I’d look at C/A4/3/CT5 sized cars.) I sat in an A class at the NYAS, fine for me.

    I will not buy any car that costs over $30K.
    If the V has a MSRP under $60K (very likely) it should reach a palatable price point at the same age as my wife's car.
    It was 3.5 years old with 32K miles on it when we got it for $27K. Its MSRP was about $10K higher.

    A 2016 ATS-V runs in the high $30K's, MSRP is similar to the XTS Platinum. All signs point to mid-$20K CT4-Vs.

    That is an age and price sweet spot for me when it comes to buying pre-owned luxury cars.
    Not too old, not too expensive.

    A 4-year old CPO CT4-V at a similar price or maybe even a little less would be great.
    That coincides just about perfectly with the next time I'll be in the market.

    Do not care about back seats or trunks. I have an XTS for that.

    Wow, good catch. Believe it or not, I actually thought it looked very sharp especially in the dark blue. I was actually foolishly thinking of getting a regular CT4 when they come out.

    At the same price point the ATS was at GM has decided to give you a bigger car. It’s called CT5. Problem solved. Nothing more to see here. GM was quite clear when they said no direct replacement for the ATS or CTS.

    No...I guess they kinda fixed the rear seat space of the ATS by now claiming it to be in the segment below where it used to be. Some of you actually bought it. lol.

    Some of us don't care about it.
    I look at it this way... it's a hell of a lot bigger than the back seat in my Eclipse Spyder and Miata.

    No one ever sits in the back seat of the Cruze.
    The only thing that would ever go back there is a parcel that's too tall for the trunk.
