General Motors CEO Richard Wagoner told the Wall Street Journal that inital demand for the all-new 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon are "exceeding expectations."     Ford Unveils New Expedition Models. Ford picked the Houston Auto Show to show us their new 2007 Expedition and Expedition EL models.     Consumer Reports Gives Impala 4th Place. Consumer Reports released a new comparison review this week, comparing the Chevrolet Impala against the; Ford Fusion, Hyundai Sonata, VW Passat and Dodge Charger.     2007 Yukon on Dealer Lots. A quick search on AutoTrader or GetAuto reveals that GMC dealers are recieving 2007 Yukons. They aren't as aboundant as the new Tahoe, but that will likely change in the coming weeks.

    Nice "week wrap-up", GMI should do this weekly so people dont have to go from thread to thread and sort out the good threads to see what's the big news or atleast whats going on in Detroit.

    Their used to be a Bi-weekly thing on GMI but stopped awhile ago.

    It will be slow until Chicago . . . and then until NY. BTW, is anyone going? If I wear a SobeSVT T-shirt would I be lynched? Detroit was excelent, especially the Autoweek Design Forum, and the Autoshow without public . . . priceless. Will do it again next year.

    GM has always had some of the best SUV's in my opinion, they absolutely struck gold with the escalade and the new one looks great too.

    GM is definetly taking over SUV's. no one is in reach of any of the gm lineup. i mean comon? 400 hp, 6 speed auto? **************** cant even make a v8 that powerful and sell it affectivly. no ofence of course ****************. im just saying GM is pulling far away from the competion and in style
