    Tech Moderators wanted!

GMI is looking to expand our technical forums. That being the case, we are looking for two moderators who will be mods for tech specific forums. We are looking for people who have a technical background to answer questions, and also the ability to help create conversation.

If you would like to be considered for these positions, please contact one of the mods/admins with your qualifications.

    Thanks!

    Re: Tech Moderators wanted!

I'd like to be able to help but I know my technical background isn't up to par. I know features, not technical info.

What kind of tech forums are going to be created or is it a surprise? Truck tech? Car tech? Good to see GMI expanding.

Well I've rebuilt a GM engine or 5, I've got alot of experience with GM's 60 degree V6 and their small block. I've also got a pretty good understanding of what to do when something goes wrong. So if I can help, pencil me in.

    Re: Tech Moderators wanted!

I have a hands-on background of GM performance cars dating back nearly 20 years. I've owned over 20 different GM vehicles and done everything from light modification to complete restoration ('68 Skylark). I'm up-to-date on current technology, having recently built and owned a 400+ RWHP 1999 Camaro SS and am in the middle of modding up my current driver, an L67-powered 1997 Grand Prix GTP.

Sometime in the middle of last year, I started a thread here exposing the myth of OHC supremecy over OHV and I backed up with hard numbers. I can't find the link anymore, but it was titled something like "OHC versus OHV..The Myth Exposed" or something like that!

Let me know if you need more info or are interested.

We want someone who has a strong background in all (or most) of GM vehicles in a mechanical perspective.
