Yet another makeover means the 9-5 just keeps on going
    25 July 2005

THE facelifted Saab 9-5 sedan, due to be launched later this year, has blown its cover.
Pictures posted last week on GmInsideNews.com show a more angular front end similar to some recent Saab concept cars.
Restyled headlights and tail-lights, more rounded bumpers and dual exhausts complete the freshen-up, while the car’s profile is largely unchanged.
The 9-5 is also believed to be getting a redesigned interior but the engines are expected to carry over.
Introduced in 1997, the 9-5 is not due for an all-new replacement for another four years.
Talk is cheap, sometimes it is on sale.

Nice! - of course, the photos posted later in that thread by our valuable members were fresher than the ones I posted at the top.

You do realize that GMI gets mentioned in Oz media more than anywhere else........ and that this is most likely due to aussie journo's being so piss poor at their job that they spend more time in the pub (and on the internet too) than they do out researching, verifying facts & creating contacts in the industry.

To be fair, auto journo's dont get to do much out here compared to their brethren in the US & Europe, so I can't blame them......

other than that it's great to see GMI mentioned!

I wish GM would come here to actually hear what we think and what the customer wants.

What got me to this site was a reference in Autoweek from when the Z06 pics were released alittle too early.

Re: Saab 9-5 article - direct reference to GMInsideNews.com

I like the front of the new 9-5, ours looks great too, but the new one is a bit more sleeker, the whole body feels more smoother and sleeker, i like it, the interior should be altered in a good way, while still keeping the 9-5's sweet features, i love that rotating airplane like map light and the fasten seatbelts light under it, it looks like it came right off of an airplane
