    Recent problems with the site

Earlier today there was a bit of corruption with the database for the forums which resulted in the site being offline for a few hours. Unfortunately, we had to restore from last nights backup. We're still investigating the cause of the problem, but things should be back to normal.

Re: Recent problems with the site

At first I thought I had to put in my username, so I did. Whe I saw that didn't work, I thought the site got hacked and I had just given up my password. What a relief.

    Site seems slower though.

The load on the server is a bit high at the moment. Give it a few minutes and see if things improve.

It should be. I'm looking around for anything I might have missed.

I did that while I was fixing things so that only I could access the site. It was either you get that, or an ugly error message.

Me too. It was the first time I had this window asking for my password which I don't remember anyway. Is there a way to get a new password?

Absolutely. Click on "User CP" on the left side of the tool bar where you also see FAQ, Memebers List... Click on "Edit Email and Password", fill out your new password and you should be all set.
