I think 90% of those posts had to do with either 1) the end of Zeta and 2) the possible closure of a brand. Proves the point that bad news is more popular than good news.

This is a great site, except for the rep power thing, I think thats sort of dumb, but other than that its really a fun place to chat about cars and I'm sure you'll hit the post count sometime soon. Way to go GMI

Unfortunately you are not exaggerating much at all. I am happy for GMI, at least that is positive.

Yup. That's one point in which I agree with Buick61 and Bob Lutz.

Congratulations. I am new to this forum and am impressed with the high level of knowledge of your contributors. I am a long term G.M. fan(Dad had a Chev-Olds dealership in Quebec province),however, I am really struggling with their current situation. Many of the comments expressed here have enabled me to better understand the reasons for the problems as well as to how G.M. might overcome them.

Yup, I have changed my Explorer favorites description from "GMI" to "Bad News Of The Day"

Hope to change it to "GM Kicks the worlds a$$"

Well, avoid the 20 page debate on which brand to kill, GMIers made themselves look pretty dumb as a collective group on that one. I couldn't stop laughing at the ideas being thrown around. Cut Chevy, Cut chevy and GMC, Cut everything but Saab, just call'em all GM and cut everything.

That thread should have had a disclaimer - for entertainment purposes only. I hope GM wasn't reading that thread or they would write off the whole site.

I'm not GM fan and can't imagine I'd ever buy or recommend any GM product (not at GM's current rate of quality improvement anyway) but love the site. Good Job!
