Watch: Cannonballing 20 Corvette ZR1s from Detroit to Nevada for Race School

If you own a race school like legendary Corvette racer Ron Fellows, one of the most basic things you need is cars. And getting 20 cars from Michigan to the Pahrump, Nevada can be complicated. Unless you have a lot of friends.

The drive happened about a year ago, but Fellows just posted a video post about the road trip to his Facebook page recently. The drive ended up taking three days and 2,300 miles and looks like it was fun, albeit exhausting, drive.

Fellows and his crew didn’t just drive the cars down for the likes, though. See, the ZR1s were brand new, and so had to be broken in before they were driven hard on track.

Needing about 1,500 miles under their belt, the team decided that the simplest way to break them in was to drive them to the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School.

Isn’t it nice when the simple answer turns out to be the right one?
