Steve Pearce Hits Three Homers in World Series, Gets to Go Home in a New Silverado

Steve Pearce, the 2018 Willie Mays World Series MVP, has not only won the adoration of everyone in Boston, not only won the World Series (ed. note, I’m an idiot, just put this in the future tense), but he’s also won a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado LT Trail Boss.

Hitting .333 in the Series and hitting no fewer than three homers, Pearce clearly earned his keep.

“In a matchup of the two best teams in baseball, Steve Pearce’s performance on the field tonight and throughout the World Series truly embodies the same spirit that drives the Chevrolet team to win every day,” said Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet. “We are proud to recognize Pearce’s tremendous efforts with the Willie Mays World Series MVP award and the all-new Chevrolet Silverado LT Trail Boss pickup.”

The new truck features a 2-inch lift thanks to the Z71 Off-Road package plus a locking rear diff, Rancho shocks, and 18-inch wheels, shod in Goodyear DuraTrac off-road tires.

Chevrolet has been MLB’s official sponsor since 2005 and has been an Official Partner of PLAY BALL, which aims to get young people to play more ball.
