Start Your Own Earnhardt Museum With This Collection of Earnhardt Cars by Sebastien Bell March 14, 2019March 14, 2019 Share Comments A collection of 20 cars driven or inspired by Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr is up for sale at Mecum’s Phoenix auction, which starts today. The collection is full of NASCAR race cars that competed with Earnhardts (Jr or Sr) at the wheel. And some are of historical note. Dale Earnhardt’s 1994 Chevrolet Lumina, for example, helped the Earnhardt earn a hard-fought seventh NASCAR Cup championship. If you’re more of a fan of Junior, you could buy his 2004 Monte Carlo, with which he won the Golden Corral 500 in Atlanta. If you’re more into streetcars, you could buy one of six Corvette pace cars, which pulled pacing duties at various NASCAR events. Or you could buy yourself one of four Earnhardt edition Camaros or one of a pair of Hall of Fame Edition Camaro SSs. Estimates on these cars range from around $30,000 to $300,000 depending on the car, but all are offered without reserve, so you could get a smoking deal on them. Considered together, and you could make yourself a pretty solid museum dedicated to the Earnhardts and charge five bucks for admission. These babies practically pay for themselves.
