Silverado Sales Top Ram in First Half of 2020 by Sebastien Bell July 7, 2020 Share Comments Well, at least something is back to normal. After being overtaken by the new Ram late last year, the Silverado has reasserted itself over the Dodge in the sales charts after the 6 months of 2020. The Chevy still lags behind the F-150, but sold 267,000 units between January and June. That’s roughly 20,000 more than the Ram, whose sales declined by 18% this year. The numbers include light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks. Counting just light-duty, Chevy sold more than 200,000 after two quarters. Ford remains 100,000 trucks ahead of Chevrolet this year, but its sales also dropped 18% this year. With a new generation on the horizon, though, its sales may shrink again just in time to skyrocket when sales of the hybrid F-150 begin.
