The NCM is Hosting an Online Car Show and You Can Enter

Are you sad about missing out on the start of the car show season? Well, there’s good news! The National Corvette Museum is hosting an online car show.

Corvette owners from around the country can enter between April 6 and April 12 for a $10 fee. That will enter them into a number of categories and have the opportunity to win awards.

“We started brainstorming ways to keep our audience engaged and the idea of an online car show emerged,” said Dr. Sean Preston, President and CEO of the National Corvette Museum, in a statement. “We’ve created a number of categories that people can enter including the opportunity to share a little extra about their car – so rather than have judging like a typical car show, it’s fun, celebrity choice awards.”

In all, there will be 24 awards handed out. Each generation of Corvette will have a category, the best race car will also be recognized, and there will by a Bowling Green Assembly Plant Manager’s award, among others.

If you own more than one Corvette, you can enter multiple cars and every household that enters the show will receive a commemorative dash plaque as a keepsake.

If you enter, your ‘vette will be posted on the NCM website and judging will begin the week of April 12, with winners being announced on April 23.

The awards will be judged by a veritable who’s who of the Corvetteratti. Judges will include designers Peter Brock, Jerry Palmer, and Tom Peters, the Corvette Racing Program’s manager, Doug Fehan, and racers John Heinricy, Andy Pilgrim, and Johnny O’Connell.
