GMC to Unveil Hummer During First Game of World Series, The Voice by Sebastien Bell October 7, 2020 Share Comments GMC has purchased commercial airtime on October 20 and plans to show the Hummer to the public for the first time during Game 1 of the World Series on Fox and during The Voice on NBC. If you aren’t planning on watching either of those, GMC will also be unveiling the Hummer live on YouTube. “We cannot wait to finally reveal the GMC HUMMER EV. We are leaving no stone unturned on reveal day,” said Phil Brook, vice president of GMC marketing in a statement. “In terms of audience reach, we anticipate this will be one of the brand’s most ambitious stand-alone campaigns ever.” The unveiling will also kick off reservations, quickly become the standard for EV unveilings. Set to kick off at 8 PM EST, the reveal will be happening simultaneously. The unveiling will be interwoven into the ad breaks of both NBC’s and Fox’s programming to make sure the Hummer’s debut can be seen in its entirety. Tipped to hit 60 mph in 3 seconds, deliver 11,500 lb-ft of torque, and able to move diagonally, the Hummer EV should be ready to take on the rest of the EV world.
