Extended Wheelbase Escalade to Debut in New York in April by Sebastien Bell February 5, 2020 Share Comments You’ll have to wait until the spring before you can see the next Escalade ESV, reports Autoblog. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait until then to know how long it will be. The outlet reports that the ESV will have a 134.1-inch wheelbase and will measure in at 226.9 inches overall. That makes it 5 inches longer than the extended wheelbase Lincoln Navigator L and nearly 16 inches longer than the standard Escalade. All of which is good for an extra 1.7 inches of legroom behind the second row and 17.4 more cubic feet of cargo behind the third row. It looks like the ESV will go on sale with the same engines as the standard-length Escalade. They are: a 6.2-liter V8 making 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque and a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel making 277 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. Cadillac has announced that the Escalade will go on sale late this summer. It is not yet clear if the ESV will go on sale at the same time or not.
