GM Will Give You a Bunch of Money to Lease a Chevy by Michael Accardi March 22, 2017 Share Comments But there’s one small catch… If you’re currently driving a Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Scion, Subaru or Toyota, GM will offer you significant incentives to get you into a competing Chevy. So if you drive a 2011 or newer vehicle for one of those Asian interlopers, Chevy is offering a $3,000 conquest bonus on most leases, excluding the Corvette, Silverado HD, Bolt, Spark and Sonic 4-Door (but not the hatchback for some reason). According to CarsDirect.com, there are some substantial deals to be had this month at your local GM dealer. In SoCal for example, you can get yourself into a 2017 Cruze LT for $99 over 24 months with just $219 down at the time of signing; or a 2017 Equinox LS for $109 over two years with $549 down. What really makes this news worthy however is GM’s widespread targeting of Asian brands specifically. Int he past GM has offered conquest cash to anyone driving a non-GM product, or in cases like the Camaro, targeting Mustang owners specifically. The conquest cash will only be available until the end of this month.
