Camaro Z/28 Prototypes Spotted Riding the Back of the Dragon by Michael Accardi October 18, 2016October 18, 2016 Share Comments Thread Two heavily camouflaged Camaro Z/28 prototypes were spotted loitering in Tazewell, Virginia, on the Back of the Dragon. Jalopnik published photos of the two prototypes on the side of the famous Virginia road. Interestingly only one features a rear wing stolen from the Air Force and a precariously low ground effects package, which fuels speculation that Chevy could split the new Z/28 into a two tiered performance model like Ford has successfully done with the Shelby GT350 and GT350R. Speculation over powertrain continues, and will likely continue until GM officially pulls the sheet on Big Z sometime in the coming months. Authors Note: The white camo highly compliments the Camaro’s storm trooper-esque styling.
