Callaway Cars Makes 410 HP Colorado and Canyon by Evan Williams February 19, 2020 Share Comments If you’re a fan of the compact GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado pickups but wish they offered some big-truck shove instead of V6 maybe, then Cab Callaway Cars has exactly what you need. It’s a supercharger kit for the 3.6L V6 that boosts the output of the engine from 308 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque to a much healthier 410 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque, enough to make you say Hi-dee hi-dee hi-dee hi. The Callaway SC410 kit comes with the long-time GM tuner’s TVS1740 supercharger system and a two-pass intercooler as well as a new high-flow intake system and a new exhaust. Callaway says that it means better acceleration, towing, and handling for the pickup twins and that since the supercharger can bypass the compressor section when you’re idling, slowing down, and cruising, you can keep much of the V6’s fuel economy. Of course, that’s no fun, so if you planning on using the ponies it’ll probably sip the good stuff at a higher rate. Callaway’s trucks are sold and serviced at participating GM dealers, and the company gives them a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty that overlaps with the factory coverage. There’s more than just power here, and you’ll also get Callaway badges and floor mats along with special key fobs. No word on pricing, but they are available to order now.
