Cadillac XT4 Caught Wearing Mini-Escalade Tail Lights by GMI News January 30, 2018 Share Comments Hey, look, more photos of the 2019 Cadillac XT4. These photos are significant because it’s the first time we’ve seen the crossover testing with its mini-Escalade tail lights, production head lights, and deployable running boards seamlessly integrated into the front doors. Cadillac is looking for the XT4 to resist against the domineering German compact luxury crossover crusade, but the company is playing things close to the chest. We do know it will be based on GM’s C1xx platform and it will debut the latest and greatest in Cadillac styling, look for angular lines, LED lights and a chiseled grille. It’s assumed the XT4 will borrow several technological and safety features from its big brother, the XT5, things like customizable ambient lighting, heated steering wheel, heated seats, rear view camera mirror, and a full suite of active safety features should be available. The latest version of CUE will certainly be deployed in the car. Under the hood it will likely arrive with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine making 270+ hp which will hopefully come mated to GM’s new nine-speed automatic transmission. Not much is known about the cost of the Cadillac XT4, however, the base price should be somewhere around $32,000.
