Cadillac Shows Off the Escalade ESV

Although it kind of leaked in Cadillac’s configurator, the company has now released official photos of the longer wheelbase Escalade ESV.

Unsurprisingly, this isn’t a big departure from the shorter, standard Escalade, but adds 15 inches to the length of the vehicle. In all there will 18% more cargo volume than on the previous model (142 cubic feet) and more even than the Lincoln Navigator L.

Prices will start at $80,490 for the ESV, a modest price bump over the standard vehicle, which starts at $77,490. That’s $1,000 more than the outgoing Escalade ESV, but it will include Cadillac’s fancy new curving OLED screen, 30-speaker sound system, and more.

Power will come from a 6.2-liter V8 that sends power through a ten-speed automatic transmission, all of which can be operated semi-autonomously thanks to Super Cruise.

Order books for the Escalade ESV open today with models expected to hit showroom floors this fall.
