2019 Chevy Blazer Interior Spied

Chevrolet is bringing back a classic nameplate and we have new shots of it testing in the wild. Showing a bit more taillight and grille, our intrepid photographers also managed to sneak a peek inside the Blazer for the first time.

Based on the Chi platform, the Blazer is expected to share a lot in common with the Cadillac XT5 and the GMC Acadia. That means it won’t be truck-based like Blazers of old.

That also means that it’s likely to benefit from GM’s 2.5-liter inline four and the 3.6-liter V6, both likely to send power through GM’s nine-speed auto.

Expected to slot in between the Equinox and the Traverse, size-wise, the Blazer will be competing against the likes of the Ford Edge and the Nissan Murano.

Widely expected to sell as a 2019 model, GM didn’t show off the Blazer to dealers—as it did with just about all of its other upcoming models—at a dealer meeting in Las Vegas, early last month. That could mean you’ll have to wait a little longer to see the Blazer than initial expectations indicated.
