According to Chevrolet, two-thirds of buyers of the all-new Equinox and Traverse are new to the brand. The bow-tie brand also states that nearly half of buyers of their crossovers are new to General Motors entirely.
Only 9-percent of buyers of both Equinox and Traverse traded in a Chevrolet, GMC, Buick or Cadillac vehicle. Trade-ins resulting from GM's now discontinued brands accounted for 11-percent of Equinox sales and 9-percent of Traverse sales.
Chevrolet states that the remaining 45-percent of sales for Equinox and 40-percent for Traverse are buyers that have been new to GM. So far this year Chevrolet has sold over 120,000 new Equinox and Traverse models, which is an increase of 80-percent over last year.

The Regal is the latest Buick to result from the brand's impressive turnaround, and it comes to North American residents via Germany. From design to drive, the new Regal reeks of its German roots and forms a vehicle with few shortcomings for GM’s former geriatric brand.
In person the Regal looks just as good as photos portray. One has to wonder if GM did not foresee the Opel Insignia’s potential future as a Buick product, because it really fits in the family well.
