Can't Start a New Thread? Want to know why?
We get several emails from users asking why they can not start a new thread. Just to set the record straight, the only place that a regular member can not start a new tread is in the Press Room category of forums. This is because all new threads in this category are syndicated to our news ticker and rss feeds. It stops some random member from posting something that is not news worthy and having it go all over the world. Only GMI staff members can start a new thread in the Press Room category of forums, however any member may reply to any thread. If you have a news article you would like us to place in a news forum, we ask that you please post it in the "Suggest a News Article" forum. Our staff members regularly check the "Suggest a News Article" forum for articles to move to relevant news forums. Thanks, The GMI Staff |
