Re: Which Sedan Should The US Police Drive?

This is another case of wait and see. In a year tell me again how that G8 based police interceptor is doing. I've been privy to testing based around the possibility of the Charger replacing the Crown Vic in two states now and the Charger failed miserably in both states for several reason not the least of which were a more frequent need for maintenance and greater expense for similar maintenance. Example, the Charger suspension was completely shot before 60k miles.

As for the G8 not being an utter failure, exactly what would have been required for an utter failure here...no cars sold? GM never hit their sales target despite the fact that they very obviously sold this car at a loss from the outset and later rebated it heavily!

LOL @ Malibu. Though, last week on Long Island, I saw a last generation un-marked Malibu which just pulled over a speeder on the Sunrise Highway.
