Holden & GM Dat.
'cos I'm biased.

And because they will be the basis of many of the worldwide Chevs that will be the foundation to support GM.

Re: Which 'New GM' Brand/Company Do You Concider It's Greatest Asset

Opel/Vauxhall, or GM Europe. Even with so much hype about GM DAT, there are too many shortcomings of the GM DATs to consider this site a truly self-sufficient design centre. PATAC seem to be stronger, but for some reason took the Astra and Insignia as-is (as-are?) from Opel. GM do Brasil has some unique capacities, but they are very local - i.e. hardly tranlate into real competitive advantages globally, save for the Meriva.

Chevrolet is only really needed in North America - a market GM would be better off if they could quit altogether. It sure is an asset in NA, but otherwise, the whole GM NA remains a liability. One has of course to factor in Chevrolet's position in Latin America (again, built using ample help from GM Europe) and rising in Asian markets, but I still believe GM would have a hard time without Chevrolet, but would (will?) die without GM Europe (Opel/Vauxhall).

One of the reasons GM is consistently in trouble is the overemphasis on the Chevrolet brand. Sure, it's a good bottom-feeder brand, but it shouldn't get all the spotlight. The fat kid might be the most noticeable when it cries for more food, but is continually feeding it healthy?

Chevy. Its the Giant everyone ignores. It could be bigger than Toyota brand.

Chevrolet - because it is the most important brand that sells the most.

Cadillac - because every strong automaker has it's luxury division.
