Re: Which Camaro Do You Prefer - Coupe or Convertible?

Not a fan of this convertible. I noticed when the top is up they show a black car so it blends in nicely but when the top is down they show a much flashier color. Black is always the best color when the top is up so I will wait for final judgement with a different color. So far the coupe is much nicer looking to me.

Normally I like Coupes, but on the Camaro the Vert looks better.

Coupe for me no doubt about it.
1) stronger body
2) cheaper on insurance
3) more secure
4) cheaper in price
5) holds up better over time than a cloth top does
6) don't have to worry about some idiot slashing the top in jealousy
7) less wind noise
8) not as hot/cold (depending on the season)
9) safer in the event of a crash
10) the coupe just looks cleaner

The 3.6L engine Camaro, if it runs like the Cadillac CTS, would probably cause some sweat for a Mustang GT owner.

Coupe. The blindspot on that convertible is ginormous.

Will the coupe come with a power retractable sunroof?

No company has been able to make the soft top look as good as a metal roof. Plus, for performance people, no ragtops allowed.

I'm waiting for the wagon, as it'll be much more practical.

A convertible for any season, here in SOCAL. In 1969 I had a new hardtop, because the SS396 convertible was too expensive, now who cares.
