Re: Which Camaro Do You Prefer - Coupe or Convertible?

I'm all about the coupe. But that is probably one of the best looking convertibles I've seen with the top up. I'd take either probably.

Re: Which Camaro Do You Prefer - Coupe or Convertible?

When people go on vacation, they rent a convertible. Then go home and drive a mini van. I LOVE convertibles. On a beautiful day, it is like being on vacation to drive one. But, if you want a coupe, just put the top up. The fully lined and insulated tops GM uses are amazing. On the 4th gen Fbodies the convertible vertion weighed 80 pounds more than the coupes.

My 95 Z28 convertible was road raced, autocrossed, and ran a best of 11.73@120mph (heads, cam, 100 shot), so having a rag top does not mean you are slow. It does mean you have to add extra safety equipment to run at some events, however.

Completely agree. With no TTop option, I'll go for a coupe with a large sunroof.

Re: Which Camaro Do You Prefer - Coupe or Convertible?

Coupe is always better. However, the spine of this convertible doesn't show like that of the Mustang. With that beeing said, the Camaro droptop doesn't look bad with the top up. The roofline didn't change dramatically.
