Quick comment, can we change the wording in the poll to LOAN rather than bailout. The auto companies are not looking to get bailed out, but just want to get a loan that they cannot get from banks anymore due to the credit crisis they created.

Thanks

Thanks
But the MSM insists it's a bailout so it must be true

I agree and as a GM fan, my emotions may cloud my judgement sometimes. But, I am well aware that changes need to be made if they are to survive in the long term.

Support and I live in MI so I am someone tied to it. This needs to happen, a loan. Not a bailout

I know thats what the 'buzz' word is right now. But really if the financial sector did create a huge shamble for themselves, GM would get the money through them like normal and not need the loan from the government ($25 Billion). Plus they already loaned them money ($700 Billion) even though they caused the entire situation, but seem to refuse to help out the auto industry even though they are somewhat just caught in the wash. Oh and AIG already is on loan terms #2 and the auto industry cant get loan #1.

It's time for GM (Ford and Chrysler too) to go into Chapter 11 and reorganize. It's the only way.

As a fan of GM, I want them to succeed and do whatever necessary to survive.

As a taxpayer, I think all compaines should be accountable for their actions. Sink or swim!

There is no "swim" for GM. Are you willing to risk the future of a nation on it?

Oh, you mean that bailout (loan) that Senate has decided to not even vote on now?

Anyone know how to say "**** my Life" in Japanese?

do people not realize that if this falls through, America will be a second tier nation over night. we will have NO, NONE, ZERO credibility. we will be just like Russia, France, Norway. second tier nations.
********know that I am not saying those nations are bad in any way, but America has been """"number one"""" since the end of the second world war. people will **** on us left and right!
