-Design a premium luxury roadster for Buick or Cadillac
-Design a new Buick or Chevrolet flagship
-Design a full sized SUV brute to replace Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon
I'm checking this site much less these days, and haven't touched photoshop for a couple of months, so I'd like it if something got going again here. The comps need to happen like clockwork. The first reserection will be slow, but we have to live with it and get the excitment back.
- 2020 cars.
- Super budget cars
- Another try at forgotten automotive design (rear engine sedans, steem cars, 3 wheelers.....)
- Something that will break a record (designers choice)
something not boring, we have to bring some excitment to it to draw people back, so lets not be overly practical, 'new Aveo'....who cares?
In my we need a new comp thread I suggested:
Ideas:
- Bring back the Chevrolet Nova.
- Now Hummer has gone we need a tough SUV to challenge Jeep.
- Corvette is fast, but let's really frighten people.
- There has never been a cool minbus.
- Affordable RWD sports car, why all of those Japanese imports are so popular.
- Design compromise, can you make a car that's fun on the track and good off-road?
- Bling and p-i-mp: nothing but red carpet.
- Mass production, GM getting big in the emerging Asian markets.

I like the ideas so far
But the ones that pop out the most are:
-Design a new Buick or Chevrolet flagship
- Corvette is fast, but let's really frighten people
- Design compromise, can you make a car that's fun on the track and good off-road?
- Now Hummer has gone we need a tough SUV to challenge Jeep.
And some of mine
Pontiac reignited
A real preformance 4 door sedan
A large hatch like holdens Ssx Concept
Design Chevrolet's Durango/Explorer competitor
A new Tahoe/Suburban
C7 Corvette
Scion/Nissan Cube-competitors
Normal is an illusion. What is normal for the spider is chaos for the fly.
I'm thinking there are any number of "holes" in what vehicles are available due to many Brands-or-niches being phased out - and could be drawn/chopped as either a 'bring-back' new-gen
or a 'transfusion' into a remaining Brand's lineup.
possible title: "I still want a new _ _ _ _ _!"
What about these....
• A full-size Chevy to compete with Toyota's Avalon
• A full-size coupe (think Maserati GranTurismo)
• A four-door sports car/four-door coupe (think BMW M5, Quattroporte Sport GT, Jaguar XF, Mercedes CLS)
I would never allow me to give God advice.
"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
