Hey all you budding artists!

Here's your chance to design a new vehicle.

We're changing things a little, and taking out the "contest" part of our monthly design contests. It's now all about design and discussion.

there are no winners. There are no losers.

It's just a great place to express yourself, and get comments and criticism on your creativity.

Entries can be Hand Drawn, Rendered or Photoshopped. You can start from scratch or modify an existing vehicle whether it be from GM or not.

To submit an entry, just start a new Topic Thread in this forum, and post your images. (Either by linking to it, or uploading it to our server).

Basically, it will work the same way as the design contests, but there will be no registration or voting threads.

It's now just about displaying your talent, and helping others to improve theirs.

No car can be all things to all people. This month's design contest is to design a specific vehicle for a specific need. This can be a service vehicle (police car / ambulance/ firetruck / taxi) or a vehicle to meet a certain niche market (Dog groomer / florist / hearse / Clown Car / Personal Commuter). Yes, it pretty much means that you can create whatever you want, but it should have a purpose (other than simply driving/commuting/enjoyment). I only hope that you keep your designs GM related.
We will accept submissions for the balance of July, and for some of August. We will have a new theme after that.

It is a design forum, but if you need to write a text-based explanation of your concept in your Topic Threads, you are more than welcome.

Please do not use ideas, designs or work from previous contests, whether it is your own work or not.

Please comment on people's submissions, especially if you have posted your own.

Have fun! If you have any questions, please feel free to let us know!

Re: Current Theme

Rex, how about a low cost Global RWD Coupe. There have been a few threads around, talking about this idea and even though much of the RWD platforms have been shelved, I still think it may be interesting. Doesn't necessarily have to be a sports coupe. I could be a coupe aimed at teh haridressers of the world (lord knows there are plenty of them), or even a small utility vehicle. You get my drift. What do you think?
