Chevy Commute

It's not quite done yet, but I'm getting there. It is a 3-wheeled personal commuter. -- I've updated the thread with a new back view. It's very rough, but I just wanted to get the idea across better.

Re: Chevy Commute

Creative. I think I would give it kind of a retro 1930ish look, but I like it.

Maybe Peel P500 because I don't think 49cc could move this design to quickly.

Re: Chevy Commute

What's the benefit of the missing wheel?

Re: Chevy Commute

Would it be front wheel drive, rear wheel steer?

Re: Chevy Commute

Yes, it would probably be front drive, rear steer (maybe 3-wheel steering?) I meant for it to be a smaller car, smaller and lower than the beat. I was thinking only two passengers, one in front of the other. I went with three wheels because I was picturing a very narrow rear end. I'll come up with a rear view soon.

-Embarrassing, hideous

Re: Chevy Commute

I kind of like the Lean Machine vibe I'm getting, if it gets 100MPG and cost about $7000 it would be a winner.....maybe.

Wouldn't you go the other way around, can you imagine a rear wheel steer car turning in at speed, it would just spin after alot of understeer, or be unstable over all.
