Re: UAW local members strike at GM Lansing plant
Let the bashing begin!!!! These are my favorite threads...and if you all wait a couple more weeks the United Steel Workers Local 2-921 is set to strike against Comprehensive Logistics on May first. This will shut down Lansing Grand River, and all the fat, lazy, uneducated UAW workers there will get paid unemployment benefits.

You'll be drawing a lot of lines in the sand once GM closes shops altogether in the states.

Re: UAW local members strike at GM Lansing plant
That's the way unions think. It's either their way or NOBODIES WAY! Well, I just want GM to stop dancing with the UAW and start moving production out of the country. I am tired of being a dealer employee and not getting our rare hot products because some wrench turner wants $60 and hour. Listen, I know it sounds harsh but GM needs to draw THEIR line in the sand and start moving production out out the country bit by bit until they bring the UAW to it's knees. This way, the rest of GM's non-union employees can work towards prosperity TOGETHER and let capitalism work for them (which is completely opposite of the UAW's socialist agenda).

I want no part of that. Quote:
I've actually been quite conciliatory towards the union. Interestingly, rather than explain any plausible reason why the union is striking, you lash out and start haring things that simply don't exist. Quote:

In conclusion, congratulations, you have remained 100% consistent with UAW communication rules. Don't explain your position, just insult, slander, take a shot at the man and use the Jimmy Hoffa treatment if all else fails.

Re: UAW local members strike at GM Lansing plant
Ready! Set! GO! Let's see, what can we make up in our heads today? Here, I'll do it for you.
Union workers... ...are out to destroy America ...are communists ...are lazy ...are un-educated ...are retarded? ...are fat ...are felons ...have no social skills ...make poopy in their pants ...make $100K a year doing 'nothing' ...dont care about anyone or anything ...sponsor terrorism ...want to destroy the company should I go on? ![]() Seriously, you guys that bash unions have no idea what you're talking about. You don't even know what the strike is about and you're already jumping to conclusions. How about we wait to hear what each side has to say then you can go back to calling guys like me fat, retarded, lazy and greedy.

Way to win the communications war with GM. You're generating oodles of empathy for the strikers right now. Oodles.

Ok, then my cause would be my own poor reading comprehension.

Re: UAW local members strike at GM Lansing plant
Wow. So the UAW complains because GM doesn't design competitive products, which is why the company and thus the union is hurting. Then when GM does have a class leading product, they strike.

They take when times are good, but refuse to give when times are bad. I can't wait till the unions are gone so these people can see how the rest of the country survives. Ignorance really is bliss.
